Consider, if you will, that my son cannot manage to write an /N/ yet. He can barely copy a simple cross drawing, nevermind a square. If he is prompted, he can rarely make a single circle. (Usually he draws multiple circles) His teacher has a technique she calls “Echo Drawing”, and this is the first amazing drawing he brought home. I am so proud of my little boy.

I think Echo Drawing is where she stands at the front & draws a shape, the kids draw a shape. On and on. He got a bit of help from his aide for location of the shapes, but the second drawing was really good too!
